Current obsessions

I thought it was about time I updated my blog before my exams start and jump on the current favourite things/May favourites or whatever you like to call it bandwagon, showing you all the things I'm loving at the moment that you may be interested in trying out too. I hope you are all doing fine and dandy, and for all of you who are currently doing exams, i wish you the best of luck!! So without furtheradoooo here are my current favourites:

I'll start off with my most favourite of the bunch which is this Liz Earle Flight Essentials Kit which is new in the Liz Earle range priced at a fantastic price of £15. 75 for four great miniture sized products that come in a handy waterproof travel pouch - available of course on the Liz Earle website, John Lewis and stand alone stores. I practically carry this around with me everywhere I go because it's so lightweight and includes all the goodies I need for the day - moisturiser, toner, hand cream and a skin salve ! I absolutely adore using the skin tonic spritzer to refresh my skin throughout the day without mucking up my makeup.

I've been using these two No7 brushes for the past month or so and they have already become two of my favourite brushes. They are really affordable compared to the price of the make up - £6.50 for the blending brush, which is said to be comparable to one of the MAC blending brushes and £7.50 for the concealer brush. The brushes are high in quality for the small price you pay, really soft which is extremely important for the delicate eye area and have not shed since I bought them. I'll definately be buying more brushes from No7 in the future, have you tried any of them?

Another obsession of the moment is nail art rhinestones and China Glaze polish in Aqua Baby - as seen in my shoe post where I did white and blue candy striped toes. I literally wore this colour throughout May but now i've switched to a girly purple colour with multi-coloured rhinestones below:

Studs, studs and more studs please.

Geo angel violet contact lenses and pink candy lipsticks. I loveee and have always loved Barry M's lip paint in 147, i think it's called peachy pink but correct me if i'm wrong? it's such a pretty colour and very long lasting although it's really drying lipstick but that's nothing a lip balm can't fix!

I'm currently in the stage where I only wear silver jewellery. I always go through phases where i can only wear gold or silver because i rarely mix metals, so in my next 'current obsessions' you'll probably see some gold bits and bobs. The ring, i recently bought in H&M for £1.99 - such a steal!! And the pearl earrings that i ALWAYS wear are my Mums which i kindly stole off from her, thanks Mum!

Lazy hair days wearing some kind of messy bun - whether worn on the side, high up or low down. As the heat is getting to us in the UK, i like to get my hair out of the way as quickly as possible so just wear it in a messy bun which anyone can do. Someone kindly requested for me to post up more pictures of my hair on my formspring so i thought i'd pop this in.

FIRST EVER EOTD WITHOUT WINGED LINER
I've always been quite scared of using brown eyeshadows thinking they would highlight my under eye circles and eye bags but today I thought I'd give it a try as I wasn't going to leave the house and this was the end result after playing with the browns that were untouched since Christmas in my Urban Decay book of shadows palette - which is amazing may I just add. My crappy camera doesn't show the colour so well but hopefully i'll be getting a DSLR camera for my 18th birthday which is in exactly 2 weeks time yay!!
xoxo
