ASOS buys, sims 3 & more

Evening all,
today I was feeling rather bored so I found myself browsing on www . ASOS . com - I have lovedlovedloved and been in love since this site was created as it's full of bargains and new brands. So I purchased a small treat for my boyfriend, a flourecent belt and some beauty products for myself. I've never tried anything from 'Models own' or the 'Cowshed' range so I thought I would be adventurous and give them a go considering each item was under £10. Dark and dramatic

I'm really loving gothic detailed shoe boots at the moment, especially ones with studding. They can add edge to any simple outfit such as a LBD ♥

FOTD - Smashbox

A beautiful quote to end the day:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?Actually who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightening about shrinking so other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to manifest the Glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some; it’s in all, everyone. And as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Your feet look gorgeous!

Hello girlies,
I'm a massive fan of shoes! This is so cliched but it's true that you can never have too many shoes and it's also the same with clothing. My most recent shoe purchase are these killer French Connection T-bar platform shoes which I have bought to wear to my sisters wedding ♥ They are a mixture of patent and suede with small circular studs dotted all across the sides of each shoe. These would look perfect with a bodycon dress or even leggings and a oversized top!

A few of my fav snaps from Britains Next top Model 2009:

I decided to wack in some clip in extensions that I haven't worn in about 2 years and I've decided i'll be keeping it au naturale in future because my extensions just feel nasty in my hair :( The hair extensions are from 'Sallys' and I bought them for around about £16.00. Hmmm it seems that my camera doesn't capture my hair colour very well in all these pictures grr!! My hair colour is a kinda deep red in 'real life' but the colour has faded ALOT since I last dyed it. I use Schwarzkopf live colour in the shade Red Passion. The contents is: 1 tube of Live Color creme, 1 bottle of developer, 1 tube of Live Color conditioner, 1 pair of gloves and 1 instruction leaflet. I would strongly reccomend you dye your hair lighter if you have very dark brown or black hair before dying it red otherwise the colour will not show very well :D I really can't wait until I change my hair colour! My hair colour that was once bright fiery red (until it faded after about 2 weeks) has become a little dull now >.<

Hope you are all enjoying the summer!

A bundle of things

Good eveninggg readers,
today has been a slightly productive day compared to other days this week. I spent it cutting up pieces of card and sticking labels on them in order to make little tags for my sisters wedding favours which will eventually be mini plant pots with a cute bamboo placed inside ♥ Her colour theme for the wedding are; red, gold and white/cream - being traditional as well as symbolic colours. Red = strength, health, good fortune, power, love -Gold = security, financial wisdom, luck - White = peace, truth, purity etc. Heres a tester we made earlier on in the year:

Here is just a random picture of me with curly hair yet again. I always have moments when I never change my hair styling routine..meaning that whenever I curl my hair, I curl it for weeks and weeks on end and keep the same kinda hair style. Boring I know right >.< well at least when you curl hair you end up with differing results! I realllllllllllllllllly need my hair cut & coloured asap - I'm thinking dark brown this time. Thank goodness my hair dresser is free next Tuesday yay! x100. I'm pretty undecided on whether I should get a full fringe cut in or keep a side swept fringe. HELP?!

<3 Give it up for carmex! I am in love with carmex and have been since I've bought it. It works wonders on the lips for me. When applied gives a nice tingly feeling that felt quite strange at first but nonetheless quite addicting after a while LOL. This is a lip balm that is worth buying if you suffer from sore, dry, chapped lips and you can practiclly buy it anywhere for £2.50 from asos.com to your local drug store. I'll be sure to try the cherry flavoured one out soon. I wonder if it will smell just as good as the original which smells similar to olbus oil. I'm sorry to say this but vaseline just doesn't do it for me anymore..

<3

Geo contact lenses - yay or nay?
I have been extremely tempted to buy a pair of these Geo coloured lenses as they are only $20/approximately £14 - which is a bargain considering they seem as though they can make a huge difference to your look?! Making your eyes appear bigger, brighter etc, what a bloomin miracle, it's just what I need!!! But for once I have refrained myself from making a crazy purchase before researching and reading reviews about them.

I'm eager to know if any of you have not been contact lense wearers before wearing these because I'm a little weary of putting something in my eye and curious to know what it feels like. If you have a pair of these I would loveloveloveeee to view pictures of you wearing them and hear about your thoughts on what you think about them. I'm really taking a liking to the brown and grey ones.. well actually I admit I adore all of them. What colour would you recommend that I buy?
Must dash! Have a listen to my other halfs favourite song at the moment: The black eyed peas - I gotta feeling. I didn't like this song at first but I've warmed to it after a few listens :D it makes me wanna have a little booogie in my room!

Lots of love

♥ 2nd post!

Hiii lovelys!
So here is the section where you can find out a little bit about me! Or should I say just a few random facts about me. I'll be answering a variety of questions that may be frequently asked questions in future ^_^ Ohhh and fingers crossed for me please! Let's pray I get a summer job soon so I can purchase the hundreds of things on my wishlist <3

Q. What is your ethnicity?
I'm a British born Vietnamese
Q. Thing you cannot leave the house without ?
My handbag which is full of goodies. Essentials such as mobile phone, keys, purse and olbas tissues mmm *sniff sniff*
Q. Favourite Brand of makeup?
I don't have a particular favourite brand of make up at the moment. I'm just experimenting with all sorts of brands and use products that suit me and stick to them :)
Q. What straightener do you use?
I'm a lover of GHDs and I'm a proud owner of the GHD iv styler ♥ However I am in desperate need of a new pair considering that I've used mine an excessive amount
Q. Do you want to get married later on in life ?
Of course I do! & create a little family of my own! 3 kids at the max but it's early days to be making any plans, I'm only 17 afterall. Don't really wanna be another number on that list of teenage mothers ;)
Q Do you have any phobias?
Well other than heights I don't think I do... but I managed to walk all the way up the Eiffel tower so.. does that make me a fearer of heights.
Q.Do you bite your nails ?
Noooo, I've suddenly grown out of that habbit for about a year now and I have no idea how or why!? Go meee
Q. Do you drink coffee ?
I must confess, I dooo eventhough caffiene does BAD BAD things to you! I don't drink it religiously though phew!

Here is my outfit and hair of the day:

Recycle and Reuse!
I made this delicate little brooche that would add a hint of sparkle to any outfit by sticking on random bits and bobs that I have collected throughout this year to an old pin. The pearl beads and diamontes were brought from a shop called 'Fabric Land'. Keep your spare buttons, sequins, beads from clothing etc to use to decorate. You could even stick on artificial flowers, big gems, charms from old jewelery and so on!

Blazer - Custom made

Striped Shirt - H&M

Black ankle length Leggings - Topshop

Corsage - ASOS.com

Be sure to listen to one of my favourite songs of the moment: Boa - Obsessed.

The christening of my blog ♥

Hiii sweethearts,
after discovering the world of blogging (yesss, I'm soo late on everything, I must wake up with my eyes closed sometimes hehe) I have decided to create my own! Considering its now the Summer holidays in the U.K I have lots and lotsss of spare time on my hands if I don't find myself a part time job soon, so, I will *hopefully* occupy myself by posting wierd and wonderful things on here rather than procrastinating and wasting the day away by sleeping for like... 8343738 hours :)

Keep an eye out for all things beauty and fashion related. Ohh and a pretty polished layout (subsequently after I try and work out how to use this website as I'm no good with all this kinda stuff) wish me luck girls! Lets see what I come up with...

Lots of love
